Need Help setting up CFL's in Closet!!

I just went to home depot today I got some CFLs and some plug in light sockets. Im growing in my closet and want to know the best way to set them up. Right now they are hanging from the pole that goes across my closet but they don seem to sterdy and move around. I want something I can make or any ideas????????????????????????? Im only growing 4 plants.

I had my ballast supported by fishing string before.

I've also tied around the lightbulb itself to position light bulbs correctly over my plants.

Any other ideas????

If your lighting setup has Clamps then I would use an Old Laundry Basket.

Those work great, sit your Container of dirt and weed into a square basket and clamp the lights on the sides of the basket.

hanging lights and floor lights could be the nest combo if you can

do u have a rack built inside of ur closet ?? if not then u can get a hangiing screw & set it in a stud ... then make urself a box from cardboard & ductape,,, cut holes in the top of the box , just big enough to put the light socket thru ,, then screw the lights in from the bottem ,,,use shoe laces to hang the box ,,, line the whole inside of the box with white printer paper ...

stick plug in light sockets into a 6 outlet power strip then plug in a y splitter so that you have 8 or so lights sticking up from the power strip.....get a tube of 5 mintue epoxy from home depot and some small eye bolts...about 1/4" ...epoxy the eye bolts into the back of the power strip in the recesed grooves....now you can use string or some s hooks and really lightweight chain....both from lowes or home depot to raise and lower the light from your hanger rack

Yeah I got everything I needed at home depot. Spent like $150 on CfL bulbs,I got 4 Clamp in sockets with reflectors( Not using them b/c cant fit reflectors with y splitter and two bulbs)WHich im using now thanks to this forum helping me figure how to setup the best way possible. Some pots ,extension cords ,fan , Y Splitters and some other crap for house. Now its it time to germinate!!!

I hope you got the 23 watt CFL bulbs for like $2.99 - 3.99 apiece, because it's earth day and they're having a really good deal on em at most stores.
