Need help please!!!!

ok so i am thinking about going into led but don't know which one to get i got a budget of about 200-350 (but could be high such as 600) and was thinking about getting something from prosource like there 90 watt ufo have a 2' by 2' (3' by 3' max) but i just need to know if that would be the right size of light for that or would i have to get something big. much thanks

the coverage is o.k. the light will work I would suplement it with 4, 2 lamp 2foot T5's one on each wall not much heat and will worK I Know!!! See Pic's hope this helps brother! Jack

P.S. make sure the led's are 2 watts or three! NO 1 watt units even if tri-bans not enough!!!!!!Jack

Get a blackstar 3w. See how you go with 1 or 2 plants. I would guesstimate you need a LED with at least 200-300w actual power draw to cover a 2x4/3x4 space. I have a 350w LED using 3w chips and I feel it covers about half of my tent well(4x5).

That light you linked to does not have a lot of info: what are the 14 wavelengths? Where is their PAR info?

Okay, I'm pretty sure it's 'diaLLed' in Engrish but hey since that sentence is outrageous, unsubstantiated, marketing hoo-haa what difference does it make...Like they've got some army of hippy engineers testing out new panels one wavelength at a time.

word well idk i have been reading on here that backstars only run at half of what they say?

Whats the actual draw on that hhut light? There aren't many LEDs that run at 100%

well i saw a post saying it was pretty close to running at it like maybe a 3/4 power

I might be wrong but I think lifetime of the LED reduced if they are driven at high amperages. It will produce more heat as well.
