Need help identifying this bug please

They are not on the plant, only in the soil. also I'm unable to see them with the naked eye, only reason I found them was because I decided to play around with my microscope

could be a springtail, which would not be a problem.

any plant damage?

No damage at all, The plants are about a week from harvest and doing great. Do springtails hop? These guys seem to only crawl

yes springtails hop but not all the time. Only when startled!

If you water heavy they might hop on the water surface.

As far as I know, adults hop, larvae wriggle?

Looks like springtails to me, but I'm still a kinda a rookie. They can be beneficial if they're not outta hand.

Possibly. I don’t have them very often.
When I do I find a quick drench of spinosad and neem with some dish soap as surfactant and they die back.
