need help!!! electric question????

So my set up is in a room i built however my power source is bout 100ft away what is the right gauge ext cord to have a solid current coming thru and safe?? my power is 60 amps divided into 6 outlets....my air conditioner has a 115 volt plug so i imagine i would need a thicker gauge cord just for the a/c? any responses greatly appreciated i have done some research online just looking for some input

I would go buy a 100 of romax and make my own, actually 2 would be better, romax is the solid copper wire they run in the conduet to wire houses, cause while a good construction grade extension cord can safely carry 10 amps that won't be enough, romax can carry 30 amps

Your setup is not very clear.

So, you need to run 100' of wiring to get to your grow room.

What you need to do is determine how much amperage you need. Each device uses a certain amount. You need to total those up to start with.

You are not going to want to run an extension cable capable of carrying 60 amps for 100', that is way too big for an extension cord.

Checking the internet, if you want to run 60 amps that far you will need a 6 gauge or 4 gauge wire through a 1" conduit.

Electrifying an outbuilding safely and effectively won't be very simple or very cheap. Get a book on home wiring to learn the basics. It's not so complicated to do it right, and it's dangerous to do it wrong.

This is the safest answer. Inside an electrical book will be a wire gauge to amperage guide, as well as pictures for non-electricians.
