Hello,
I am looking for people who may be familiar with growing the following strains and can offer an opinion on them based on their experience. I can't decide which one to choose. Cuttings from these strains will be used as my mothers (I will chose the 2 cuttings taken from the best performing plant to be my 2 mothers)
From Seed:
Option 1: Blueberry, Feminized from Dutch Passion
Option 2: Kushberry, Feminized from DNA
Option 3: Master Kush, Feminized from Dutch Passion
*Option 4: SR-71 Purple Kush clones - using cuttings from a SR-71 Purple Kush clone as a mother instead of growing from seed. I'm interested to hear what people think of this. You can not buy true Purple Kush seeds, and it's one of my all-time favorites.
I'm growing SOG using Ebb & Flow hydroponics. There will be QTY 3) 2'x 4' flood trays with 8 plants in each (1 plant per square foot). Each tray will have a dedicated 600Watt MH/HPS switchable, dimmable light centered over it.
Once the clones are ready to be vegged I will use the MH light at 50% to harden off before upping the wattage to 75%. When I being to see pre-flowers I will flip the lights to 12/12 and switch them to HPS at 100%.
In order to make the timing of this system work correctly I will most likely need to use a product like Clonex Root Matrix to keep my cuttings as clones until the flowering cycle in my grow room is complete and the new clones can veg under the 600 Watt MH lights. Until then they will be kept under florescent lights.
As you can probably guess I like an Indica or Indica dominant plant with a high THC content and look for a plant with heavy head trauma. Yield is also good to consider but potency is very important to me. As this is my first grow I also need to be sure not to pick something that isn't going to be too difficult for a new grower.
Sorry if this is a lot of information, but I figured I was going to be questioned about lighting etc. and wanted to give it all to you upfront so you better understand how I intend to grow! Perhaps one of these strains is better suited to my intended setup.
