Hi guys, I do read & search before I post but the search is murder and most of the answers are like ones from lawyers being such as "It depends on this, it depends on That.
I have two decent looking plants and with the flowering stage coming soon I just want to make a decent next move. A noob grower I have no clue.
I just need some simple rule of thumb stuff, not a scientific description of scenario dependent circumstances. Please?
My Details:
I have two 5 gal bucket grows going and they look really nice. @ 46 inches tall from the bucket rim with plenty of nodes getting a minimum of 6 hours of direct sunlight a day.
I have already found males last week and removed them.
I experimented with watering letting them go until a little wilting came on and if they do not get at least 1/3 gallon a day they suffer. so every AM they get about 1/2 gallon.
I am using a less than half dosage of MG for Tomatoes & fish emulsion in my water every two weeks having only done only 2 of those feedings the last one being yesterday. No yellowing and they look pretty perky.
The soil is Bacto premium potting soil with 10% processed manure mixed in.
The buckets are painted and shaded.
My questions are:

My questions are:
- Due to my budget and application I use Miracle Grow. I have purchase some MG flowering mix. By looking at the plant when would you give them a feeding of it? It will be a less than recommended dosage.
- When I pulled the 47" tall males I looked at the root content of the bucket and it was surprisingly not as full or bound as I predicted from the reading I have done. The root ball was the size of a softball and plenty room at the lower portion of the bucket for more root growth. How tall can I expect the possible height to be?
- If they do get root bound how will this effect the grow? Can I just expect them to stop growing and make sure they are fed? I ask because what I have is what I get. There will be no transplanting.
