Need Approval of My Supplies

This is my first time growing and Im growing in a cabinet that is 74"Hx24"Dx48"H I lined the inside with R-Matte its a type of insulation that has a reflective side and that is facing the lights obviously. The top shelf is for starting clones/seeds while the bottom is for when the get bigger I have a thick white "light tight" curtain ready to put up when my babies start to flower. I have 3 pc fans bringing are in on one side and 2 taking it out on the other side. Im using florescent tubes and CFL's. I know they arent the best but I cant afford any HIDs yet. The lights are on hooks and chains so I can raise them accordingly.

For growing I'm starting my seeds in a Jiffy Greenhouse

My soil is 80% Scotts Premium Garden Soil and 20% Perlite

Now the food is what I'm iffy about but what I'm using now is Vigoro Tomato & Vegetable Plant food for vegetative 12-10-5
http://www.homedepot.com/Outdoors/h_d1/N-5yc1vZbx82/R-100026341/h_d2/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053

And for flowering I use Miracle-Gro Liquid Cactus food 2-7-7
http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R-202563068/h_d2/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053

I use distilled water and while they are sitting there I have an air bubbler running in the gallon jugs.

With my light setup I CFL's running across the tops of the plants while on the back of the cabinet i have the fluorescent tubes so the side/bottom of the plants get lights I rotate them 90 degrees every other day.

So that's it any help or advice would be greatly appreciated I'll throw up pictures soon hopefully lol

Also, please don't be douches that's not what this website is about

that all sounds fine m8, just start the feed off at half strengh and work up to full, what size and how many cfl? how many plants? good luck.

edit, infact that tomato food is no good, it says its slow release and feeds for 8 weeks, you dont want any slow release ferts they can be a real nightmare for burning your plants, especially if your new to growing, you want something higher in the N (nitrogen) for veg and that only lasts a short time so you can go water, feed, water, feed.

For flowering you may want to take a look at miracle gro flowering booster. It's ratio is 10-52-10. Luv the stuff, myself.

I have 20 CFL (2 rows of 10) across the top of the vegetative/flowering part (bottom half of the cabinet) and 10 across the top of the seeds. Then the tubes I have to 4 4' tubes on the back of the vegetative/flowering and 2 4' tubes on the seed area. And I'm growing 6 (2 each of 3 different strains white widow, northern lights, AK48 )

you can use tomato food just make sure its not slow release like the one above. something like this is better http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053&productId=100077406&R=100077406 but i would give it at half strength all the time, depending on how the plants react. or this seems alright http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053&productId=202269868&R=202269868 im not from the usa but someone should be able to answer this for you who buys their ferts from home depot

not sure if you can get this there http://www.johnstowngardencentre.ie/one-plant-food--the-only-nutrition-your-plants-desire/one_liquidpd.aspx but i can recommend this 100% the difference to the plants after a couple of days is unreal.

OK I'll check that out I read that if it works with tomatoes it would work with trees. Is that true? Also do I have enough light to get a decent yield obviously if everything else works out.

yes 20 lights for flower sounds good across the top then with the tubes for side lighting you should do fine, have you got any 2700 kelvin bulbs for flower? if not then i would, even if you only change 10 of them, so 10 2700 and the other 10 6400 k.

The 20 for flower they are 68W 4,200 lumens and the other 10 are 42W 2,600 lumens
yes thats more than enough but they should also have a colour temp written on the bulb or box, it will read something like 2700k or 6400 k or another number, it might just say warm white or day white.

well 2700k are perfect for flower but really you should have some 6400k for veg, how ever if you carnt afford/find them then you can get by with the 2700k ones, you dont need to change all the 2700 one just have more or half of each for veg then say 80% 2700 for flower.
