has anyone ever vegged with 150 watt hps...i have 2 t8 daylight fluros and 2 150 watt hps going on in my veg ryt now...3 aurora indica 5 gallon dwc...tryna get the max yield out of this go around...any advice and info would b appreciated from my 420 community
Yes I have vegged with a 150W HPS, it is alright, not a varied enough spectrum for vegetative growth I've found. Especially since the best growth I've ever personally got was from a 250W MH I used to veg with and some high wattage fluorescents like 105W CFLs, etc.
i use 400w hps in my vegroom and it works fine. would like to have some other type of light since its mostly red but since i have to cover a rather big area that makes the HPS great since it has a much higher lumen output then any other light source.
