Need advice!

My 2 ladies have been flowering for about 6 weeks now and are moving along nicely. I have many large, maturing buds on the top lets say 12" of the plant. I want to cut off the small, insignificant(popcorn) buds that flourish on the bottom 8" or so. I just wanted some advice or comment on what my next move should be. Any thoughts? thx in advance.

6 weeks in don't cut anything off. You will be stressing her and any little bit of stress will keep her from growing at 100%. Don't slow her down now she's on a short time limit.
Next time cut off all the little twigs and such 1-1.5 weeks into 12/12.
