I don't know what a ligit harvest is!, but realize they will probably double their size when you flower them. Good Luck.

I've heard over and over again that a good harvest can come as early as 4 week veg and 6-8 week flower. Of course different strains take different times, but as a general time frame, that seems to be what I've heard the most. They are generally 2-3' tall, and my buddy averaged 4 ounces per plant off CFL's. That's not bad for 12 weeks IMO.

u think i should go ahead and lolipop the big and the other babies and flower then?

I'm far from a pro, but from here on out, I'm going to flower after just 4 weeks (day 1 starts when they get their first 4 real leaves, the first 2 round ones don't count.)
At that rate, with 2 plants only, I'll get 8-12 ozs every 12 weeks. That's all I need, and then some.

I would flower when the plant is 4 weeks, like I said above, and around 1' tall...ish. But bigger plants, produce more buds, ideally. Right now I have 2, 6 footers, and I wish I would have veg'd for only 4 instead of 6.
There has to be someone that has figured out the time frame in which the most buds are produced in the shortest time.

Maybe it is the 4 week veg, who knows, because there are a lot of factors that affect the harvest.

Here's a bud on my bubblicious day 26 of flower.

How long to veg for a "ligit" harvest depends on your plant count, how big your space is, and how well you can control your canopy.

I veg them until she is 4 or more feet tall now a days but using 1000 watt , and only 3 or 4 plants per light . and they ask more more light so have cfl on the sides . but if your using 600 and new farmer, can run into a lot of trouble being my height !, if I was you veg for 1.5 feet tall then flower those. and put 4 plants under that 600 and place it as close as possible. if you have more then 4 plants. don't raise the light to flood more plants big mistake. just put them near the light and what ever you get you get of the extra plants any thing is better then nothing if you cant run more lighting. or use cfl for other plants.

Because of the size of your tent if you wait any longer the plants will outgrow it...
Its 4ft tall right, minus ~1 foot for the light and then the space between the light and the plants .. Thats not a lot of room for the plant to grow...
(the cool tube will help cause with that size fan it should be cool to the touch allowing for the plants to get closer)

Also leaving tap water out to sit will not get rid of the chlorine.... Only if you add a de-chlorinator first..
Unless your organic/tlo then it doesn't matter anyway, the amount of chlorine in tap water will have no ill effects on the plants..

I have a 600 and flower in a 4x4 homemade tent. I'm assuming you have a full size 4x4 tent. Any ways from my experience and everything I've heard and read does back up that a plant needs roughly 8 weeks of veg. time from seed before flowering to reach it's full potential. Clone you can flower as soon as they get a good root system due to the mother plant has already reached maturity so in turn that plant is all ready mature. With this being said you do have to take height and size into consideration because you don't want to outgrow your light. This is where the lollypoping and lst comes into effect. The reason you lollypop is that the plant isn't getting good enough light there to produce good quality bud. And I believe some of the theory behind lst is to redistribute growth from growing just straight up. So there's no 1 particular answer. Clones also mean less harvest weight over seed plants. Some of them looked ready some didn't. That's whats nice about a separate veg area.Good Luck!

Wanted to add that I fit 6 mature plants with decent success and they finish about 3ft tall.

I agree. But, once you've mastered your set up, there should be no problem getting close to that.
I've been involved in grows for years, but this is my first grow by myself, beginning to end. I'm no pro, but not a total noob either. These first two plants of mine, will exceed 8 ounces, I'm sure of it. Granted, they are 6 footers, but all 17 tops on the "smaller" of the 2 are 6", on day 23 of flower. Main cola is over 9" on both.
My next grow (also indoors, temp & humidity controlled, hydro, hand watered) will be easy to copy following my notes.
This first one I let veg for 2 weeks longer than I plan on letting the others. I wanted an opportunity to combat more potential problems, to raise my skill level.
They seemed to respond well in spite of heat stress, over watering, under watering, nute burn and even root rot.

Some say I got lucky, I say I spotted and combated the obvious signs early enough.

25 days till I sprout the next round (same strain) and I'm only going 4 weeks veg (day one starts when there are 4 "real" leaves, first 2 round ones don't count).

I've always been told to master (learn the warning signs of)your strains, and set ups.
A lot of what you master on one strain will carry over to others in the future, but there will still be adjusting to do.

There's just so many ways to accomplish the same goal... ya know?!

I'm a noob. 5 Grows under my belt. On my 4th grow I flipped 4 plants to flower after 57 days from the start of germinating the seeds and I harvested 23 zs from the 4 plants (used 1 X 1000w in a 5X5 tent). That should give you an idea of what can be done. An expert probably could've squeezed more out of that and if you SCROG like I am now probably could've close to doubled the yield in the same time. The thing is... everybody counts vegging weeks in a different way. Some don't start counting veg weeks until they put the seedlings in 1 gal pots and others start counting after the seedling reaches a certain height. So to keep it straight I just count from when I put the seeds in paper towels to germinate, which put my veg time on the above crop at 8 weeks, if you want to look at it that way. Or... call it 6 weeks of veg after I put the seedlings, which I started in Rockwool, into 1 gal pots.

I just noticed someone said they are 5 weeks apart.
You need(ed) to flower that big one at 1 1/2' for it to, maybe, still fit in your 4' closet tent. Unless you LST.

I see easy options:

1. Flower those bad girls separately.

(If the big one is not 1 1/2' tall, you still have a chance of it staying in the tent up to harvest, as well.)
Those little ones can go four weeks on a couple 36, 40, or 42w cfl's each.
And, You'll have the big harvest 5 weeks after the first.

2. LST

That big one will outgrow your tent for sure, if you don't flower soon. It just happened to me. I have 6 footers outside my 6' tent. Grrrr! :wall:
So, you'll have to tie it down, keep veging, and flower all at the same time.

How tall it the big one? I don't think you've ever said...
Or....I could just be stoned...
