Need advice on when to flip to flower

Hi all , anyone familiar with mimosa strain ?
im on week 3 veg, trees are averaging between 14-17 inches with gavita1700 led. Rdwc
How much is the stretch ? Should i veg more ?
Im asking cuz last run i did gorilla glue and they stretched to 5-6 ft almost from 16 inches

You're saying gorilla glue stretched from 1 and 1/3 ft to 6.6ft? At most it would stretch to 3 times its height at flip. Not to be a dick but that's not believable.

It all depends really on your ceiling height, distance from hanger to light and distance from light to plant. But at most a plant shouldn't stretch to more than 3x its veg height at flip imo....
 
Its 5-6 , not 6,6 sorry. But yes majority was between 5-6. So the way lights are hang its dificult to lower them so if it stretches 3x thats perfect i should flip now but if they double light will be around 30 inch away
 
But back to my point anyone had mimosa strain ? Its considered exotic strain and i think its sativa dominant. My main concern is if i flip now what if they stretch just 1x ?

I've grown it once and just about doubled in size if that helps any. It is a stretcher. Lighting and environment all play a role though.

Not related qiestion did u lower the temp at lights off for give them dark purple color ?

I keep my night temp at 62 to 65 deg for all my grows. They were purple right from the beggining. Guess that was just the pheno idk.
 
Plants usually stretches' 2 to 3x it's height during flower depending on genetics. Also to get purple it's usually genetics and flowering in cooler temps.
 
how do you like those gavita 1700e's? and compared to what did you use previously? i am thinking about making the switch from hid to led.
i would flip when pic was taken.
