Need advice on my grow room

Hey all,

I have a 10ftx6ft space availbe inside of a large room that i plan to section off and start my first garden. I have gotten permission to care take for a couple friends whom have recomendations themselves, and they have given me rights to grow thier plants as well. In cali its six per patient so I have 18 plants within my legal limit. ive been doing alot a reading the last few days however I am still unsure about how many actual lights i will need in this space (10x6) to grow 18 plants with a decent yield. I currently have one 600 w hps or mh lswitchable light kit with reflector and all that, should i have one more, or two more?? Also If i live in the desert where its primarily quite dry, do i need a dehumidifier?? Is Co2 a absolute must for 18 plants?? and if I dont use co2 how big of a difference would it make?? ......1,000 watt light covers a 4' x 5' with plant tips 18 inches away or 20 sqft.
600 watt = 4x4 or 16 sqft.
400 watt = 3x4
...so, you have a 60 sqft space...
(600 watt lights are most efficient with it's lumens per watt ratio, but 1,000 watts penatrate the garden better)

.....18 plants in that area give you over 3 sqft per plant so, I'd suggest supercropping, look up supercropping to learn more if your not familure. This will give you the maximum yield with a limited amount of plants in a nice sized space.

...the earths natural atmosphere is only at a 300ppm of co2, MJ can take in 5 times that amount and give you upto double the yield if ppm is kept at 1,500ppm.

...humidity just needs to be below 60 during bloom to prevent potential bud mold

I would get at least 2 x 600.

Be smart and invest in some sort of cooling method and have great air flow.

...the very best of growers will get 2 pounds per 1,000 watt light or something close to .85 grams per watt of light, this also depends on the strain mind you.

...do your estimates by watts. A good grow will get .5 grams per watt and above.

I'd suggest 4 x 600 watts for your 60 sqft space with air cooled/water cooled hoods that contain double parabolic arched domes. A 20,000 btu "double outlet a/c units", co2 gas tank or co2 burner, co2 regulator, dehumidifer, sulpher burner, and a some kind'a climit control unit to keep temps right.

You'll need to build an airtight room (except for the inlet and outlet of the light heat exaust) in order to maintain a co2 level @ 1500 ppm.
