need advice i went to jail

i got caught with a 40, 4 dimes, and each had a little less, so it was about a 35 or 30 in reality anyways.... 4 small baggies,
and i went to jail for 16 hours, got out on a 2,000 dollar bond BUT my dad only paid 390 cause of the bail bondsmen, the judge, the first one you see when your downtown said im facing 6 months in jail and a 2000 dollar fine

But when i came out another officer said they just do that to scare you, in reality you'll get probation and a fine

this is a class b misdemeanor

last year i got caught with my friend, he had a tube with a tiny bit of weed and i took the rap, i paid the fine and i was on deffered adjustification for 3 months, welll that was already out of my record when this happened 2 days ago..

IM SO SCARED...i already lost my real dad, and im scared if i go to prison ill lose more time with my aging father that took care of me my whole life.... and i dont want to leave my pet and LIFE, i'll go crazy inside their for that long

please someone enlighten me and tell me i wont go to jail.........
all because i have anxiety and i justt wanted my monthly medicine and enjoy it at the privacy of my room and my day off..

make up a story and stick with it. a couple of dime bags you could just say was for personal use unless you handed one over to a cop. hang in there. my advice would be to get a lawyer as soon as possible and get him putting the sentencing off. in that time go and do some charity work and get your conscience clean. take pictures, build a case that your not a danger to the public. they won't not let you submit character evidence. get people to testify on your behalf. make the biggest damn case of a minor offense possible and you'll walk. or smoke one and sit on the couch.

it sucks brother, i haven't smoked either, im too scared to go get some and bring it home !....

i guess ill do what you said on the reasonings, i do have alot of big non fake reasonings as to why i dont want to be in prison

@ttystikk i was thinking of doing that actually, but with this on my record it might be hard to find work if i go somewhere legal, which i still want to try...we'll see FUCK man i was almost done with everything i owed and now im back to another 1 or two more months held back.......

i was so close to moving out again lol...

impo praying is for people who won't do things for themselves. make your own road, don't follow anyone else's. fight for what you want, don't let your fate be bestowed upon you. you weren't doing anything wrong. you didn't hurt anyone. praying will get you hooped. doing will get you free. take the whole fucking world on if you have to. just don't smoke a joint and sit on the couch. you have lots of days until your first appearance probably. set a damn goal for your plan and go do it. i totally wouldn't go sober either and take treatment. be original, show some class and don't just cop out like they all do, out think your lawyer and do more work than he does which isn't hard. if you want to pray then do it, on the time your not spending doing something that will keep you out of jail. i feel likeim wasting key strokes on you because your just whining and don't plan on doing anything. am i?

Man when i was a teenager we used to go downtown with giant bongs and smoke up, i dont know how we never got caught but
i mean either youre always just in the wrong place at the wrong time or youre holding up smoke signals and flashing signs ?

I just dont see how you get caught that easily with such little amounts.

Stop getting caught, theres obviously something thats allowing you to become suspicious and or discrimination by the police, whether it be bad neighborhood, clothing, attitude , change what it is so you can stop getting caught. stop taking weed outside with you

Get a lawyer if you're that worried. He'll be able to plea that down to probation in his sleep.

That was my first thought, too. FOUR dime bags? WERE you selling? I like Fandango's excuse about having different strains in each, though. Maybe they'll buy it.

Only good advice here is stop carrying weed on you. Don't change who you are because cops are assholes. Should I sell my bike and cover my tattoos and not have a Mohawk because the police don't like it? Fuck that. I'll die with my patch on and they can suck a dick if they don't like it. Be you not a damn sheep. Just stop having illegal things on you if its that big an issue.

Check and see if these are extraditable offenses. If not, then fucking LEAVE! No conviction that way, you just don't go back until statute of limitations runs out- so get that number, too.

lol no your not, i was just thinking and im going to do what you suggested, im going to first gather positive stuff i've done since then, ill get clean, take a drug test to court and also show theme little stuff ive bought to improve my life, and show them letters from people who need me, like my boss, my family etc.

nooo....this is for personal use, i have anxiety and depression, i usually get a 20 every week, but i decided to do a 40 every month, so i dont go out every week, and just get it for the month.

Use alllll of your continuances. You have shitloads of time if you play it right. With misdemeanors, when you get enough continuances, it becomes an issue of cost efficiency for the courts. The DA typically ends up pleading you out rather than wasting more of the courts time and money. And if you can afford it, get a lawyer. They can show up to court for you and get your continuances. Relax. This could all turn out to be nothing more than a minor inconvenience to you.

That was my first thought lol. How in the hell do you keep getting caught with little baggies?? I have smoked evvvverywhere and had decently sized bags on me and the kind of paraphenalia you can't swallow in tight situations like pipes and bongs lol. I don't know what it is you did to draw attention like you have but...you need to just smoke at home and not tell anyone. You're doing something wrong here.
