Need advice for pc grow box

Hello-

I've grown a few batches of plants a while ago and had a great time doing it, but now i have 3 roommates who are anti-marijuana. I was reading some people growing in a pc case with lowryder and did a bunch of research on it, and it sound hella legit. So for anyone who has any experience with micro grows, i have a couple questions:

1) Do i need something to bring the plants UP closer to the light ?
2) Is lowryder a must for success or can i use bagseed with LST techniques ?
3) Has anyone had any experience buying from http://www.pcgrowcase.com ?
4)Hydro or soil?

here's my advice for growing pot in a pc case while liviing with anti drug roomates: dont do it. instead move out or find cooler roomates
