Need a little advice

Ok, so me and a buddy of mine are wanting to start 10 autoflowers, i am ordering a 400 watt hps for flowering and also have 2 2700k cfls to throw in. Were trying to decide on lighting for veg, should we just buy some cfls and splitters, or use fluorescent tube lights? How many watts would we need?

I use HPS from start to finish, with an enhanced spectrum bulb.
