Need a little advice on the size of my new grow box.

Hey guys. I plan on building a new grow box from scratch. I'll be growing 4 plants in a rubbermaid DWC, under cfls. I'll also be using the ScrOG method to keep the overall height of the box down.

The box will have no bottom and be sitting on an AC vent with the rez being suspended about an inch above the the vent.

I'm just looking for some general dimension advice. Thanks in advance.

All depends on the amount of wattage of your light. 50w a square foot is the norm but it doesn’t hurt to have more. Make sure the ac vent doesn’t cool your res down too much.

Two bulbs for each plant during flower. One 42 watt 2700k cfl and one 26 watt 6500k, per plant.

For dense compact buds , make sure the CFLs are about 1 - 2 inches away from the plants. The closer the better.

Well if you're growing in a rubbermaid box, isnt the size of your box already chosen for you?

The rubbermaid container is my rez for DWC. I was just hoping to get some min max sizes for my GROW BOX.
