Right now my "Grow Box" is a cardboard box i Doctored up..

Basically i Cut out the front so my plant has some breathing room and can get air circulation from my Fans, And Ive mounted a Powerstrip upside down which has 2 27W CLFs and 2 13W CFLs.

Im wondering if getting Mylar or Painting it white is extremely important?

or can i leave it as it is and have no problems??

important is up to you.
Putting some mylar can reflect and increase light up to 10%.

Painting everything white is good for preventing mold, most so much for light refecliction.

With your low power... it's really nothing, I wouldn't bother

Also, you don't want more then 100w in a cardboard box... fire is a likely result

If its not a pain in the ass to take the box back apart and paint then I would for sure. Painting the walls a flat white helps with reflection, but since your box is small it wont matter all that much, but it definitely wont hurt. Good Growing!!

The box is open and has very good airflow.. Combined with the Almost no Heat from the CFLs.. It isnt very prone to fire honestly..

Thanks for the reply though.

Also the Box is about 3 Feet Tall by 2 Feet Wide.
