Mylar advice

Does anyone have a good deal going for mylar sheeting? Most mylar I've come across is 2 mil at the hydro stores and I understand you need at least 5 mil. Also is Reflectix a better option? Thanks in advance from a n00b.

2 ml is good, you dont want the 1ml.........peace MTM

I went with 1 mil and it's working out for me. It's placed over wood and spray adhesive to that so it won't rip. It was only 16.53 for a roll of 50' X 54".

I have heard many bad things about mylar, like it causing hotspots, if it gets wet it's useless, and it's a pain to clean. Why not go with some black and white poly?
