Hey guys. I'm designing my vertical grow room but I'm not positive which way will be most efficient. I plan on designing a shelf kind of system so I could have green wherever the lights penetrating. I've got 50 clones waiting for me, and theyre going to be flowered at 12"-18", I still havent decided.
The picture is something I just drew up real quick on paint to show you guy what my current dilemma is.
The first setup, with both cool tubes being hung individually would allow for much more growth along the walls at the level that the tubes would be put at, but it would limit the growth on the floor and the growth up towards the ceiling.
The second setup would be tighter towards the middle of the room and it would just be a cyclone of bud surrounding the two bulbs. from the floor to the ceiling.
Question 1: Which setup would give a higher gpw?
Question 2: I could get a 12" 5' tall active air carbon filter through a trade, and I'd be able to spend the money that I'd originally spend on the fan and filter on just a fan, so I'd also be able to upgrade to a bigger fan. Should I? Or is what I have plenty, and overdoing it wouldnt be necessary?
Question 3: Is it okay for my cooltubes to be open on the bottom?
Lemme get some guidance from ye good folk here. Steer me in the right direction! Any advice is appreciated
