My Vanilla Kush Loves You Subcool

This is my monster VK mother I have come around to putting into flower. She is in a 15 Gallon tupperware with ocean forest on top and supersoil on bottom. I just tied down the right side so that is why she looks lower there. You can see a mechanical pencil in one of the pictures for perspective.
I have only watered this plant since birth. No chemical nutes. No PHing my water. I dont let my water sit out over night. I water when needed and LST her. A little preparation goes a long way. When she was a mom and I thought she needed food I would just sprinkle a handful of supersoil on top and water :) I will never go back to non-organic gardening. Thank you!

you got it, only thing i don't use supersoil in is in some of the fresh clones in veg but it is mixed into my recycled soil, just a lil, as a reboost. i topdress moms with it and anything that shows a deficiency. If you get bored and adventurous, you spice up the water only with a little molasses. My only other nute most of the time is espoma biotone and thats only in my veg soil. Truly fantastic stuff. I wonder if Vic High has seen what started as his mix get tweeked and show these great results around the world thanks to sub.

That plant truly is a monster, you're gonna end up with bud everywhere lol

Thats a hell of an idea, I usually just toss my old soil out in the garden, I could use my old soil as potting soil :) Thank you Sir! Its always hard as a woman to call a man sir, but I thank you. Who is Vic High? Are you implying subcool didn't invent this recipe?

Vic High was the original breeder of space queen, killer queen, romberry, and a few other strains from bcga genetics... vic had a original version of the supersoil which was the base of what subcool has tweaked and shared with us. Just a tad bit of marijuana cultivation history for ya, I have been around a while now(13 years)

Super Soil Mix

Original recipe - as it was given to me
1 Bale sunshine mix #2 or promix
2 L Bone Meal - phosphorus source
1L Blood Meal - nitrogen source
1 1/3 cups Epsom salts - magnesium source
3-4 cups dolmite lime -calcium source & pH buffering
1 tsp fritted trace elements
1/2 - 1 bag chicken manure (steer, mushroom, etc) - nitrogen & trace elements

- Mix thoroughly, moisten, and let sit 1-2 weeks before use.

Revised recipe - after several failures due to bad manure sources, I now use the following recipe. Results have been excellent and the clones seem to take off right away instead of having a slow growing settling in period.

1 Bale sunshine mix #2 or promix (3.8 cu ft)
8 cups Bone Meal - phosphorus source
4 cups Blood Meal - nitrogen source
1 1/3 cups Epsom salts - magnesium source
3-4 cups dolmite lime -calcium source & pH buffering
1 tsp fritted trace elements
4 cups kelp meal.
9kg (25 lbs) bag pure worm castings

- Mix thoroughly, moisten, and let sit 1-2 weeks before use.

Substitutions
- The original recipe was a success, but I simply needed to experiment. In addition, sometimes not all ingredients were always available. Therefore, here are some possible additions and/or substitutions. Descriptions to follow
Blood & Bone Meal - when trying to cut costs

Kelp Meal - contains over 62 trace minerals. Good supplement for manure or for reducing the manure content to speed up availability of soil.

Worm castings - excellent source of micro nutrients
Bat guano - excellent for top dressing a week into flowering
Seabird guano

I agree she looks a little burnt....very dark green with cooked tips. How'd that happen? Thought I read you don't use nutes? Maybe I misunderstood. I don't think it's too serious - if you're organic - I'd just ride it out. If not - I'd flush her once. But...that's me. She looks great.
