my tie down

dude that always happens with my plants

right after i tie them down a little the leaves droop for a couple hours but then perk up!

I think we are closely tied to our plants and we should treat them like we would want to be treated. If you're tying it down because you need the space then that's fine. What about doing less over a long period of time? Did you see that thread about wrapping wire from the bottom to the top of each stem which would allow you to bend however you want? It's like what the florists' do with really long stem roses to keep them standing straight up for a long time.
