This is tough!

I just started learning the other day, and I'm playing around with DealBook Web's demo account so I could learn without wasting real money.

I started with $2,500 and have lost $269.03 as of right now. I've picked some winners and losers, but bigger losers.

Right now I'm looking for hammers and hanging men to tell me when to buy and sell.

I'm going through the babypips "school" right now, and it's helped a lot.

So, now, let's talk about forex.

Have you checked out investopedia? it's got great educational info too. i started with a micro account originally at fxcm. I opened it with $500 but I think you can open an account with as low as $200. Ninja trader is my preferred platform. you can download it for free and trade a simulated account if you open an account with Gain. They are the data providers. I wouldn't trade live through gain though, costs are to high. any questions, feel free to ask, but I have only been doing this for about 8 months, so i'm still a newb myself.

I sincerely think it is extremely nice to be able to share one's thoughts with everyone else and benefit from other people's experience - only like this all of us will get better!
