My Stealth Cabinet (Pics)

Just finished setting up my stealth grow cabinet. Took a lot longer then I planned but I am pretty happy with the results. The cabinet itself is about 30" tall, 18" deep, and 28" wide. Inside I have 6, 27w CFLs mounted in a homemade hood I whipped up. I have 4 more CFLs that I would like to put in there but I am not exactly sure how I want to have them go in there (I want them to be on the sides, any ideas are welcome). There are 4 computer fans wired up to a 200w power supply I got out of an old computer. 2 intake and 2 exaust. The inside of course is covered in mylar (except the ceiling due to needing to put in eyehooks to string up the lights). The towel you see helps prevent light leaks, though there are some slight ones it's virtually impossible to tell if the lights are on or if it is day time, which is good because the only time my lights in the room go off are when I sleep. I plan on doing 5 Blueberrys in a SoG, just got done ordering them from Attitude.

Any questions or feedback would be greatly appreciated, I'd like to hear what you guys think.

EDIT: Also before I get shit on for it the stuffed animals are there to stop some light that was coming out :). I plan on figuring out a permanent solution to that so they won't have to be there.

Listen I am gonna be very honest with you

I tried the exact same setup, Well not exactly but the dimensions were the same.

I had problems with heat. Was using the same cfls you were.

Also the plants grew but quickly I ran out of space.

To make a long story short, you need a larger cabinet, at least 6 feet tall.

You will be amazed at how quickly you are gonna run out of space

Please take my advice and get a wardrobe closet.

Well, I would assume a 6 foot tall cabinet defeats the purpose of the whole "stealth" idea. I've been running the lights for about 5 hours now continuous and the temp inside is around 77 degrees, which isn't too too bad. Of course it's not perfect, but I am working with a pretty small area here. Im also assuming that if people can stealth grow in a PC case that I can work with the height limitations, I'm not looking for a gigantic yield so I don't mind if they stay rather small. The fans inside push a lot of air, and I am going to be putting another fan in to move air around inside as well, so it should cool down a few degrees to just about optimal. The seeds won't be here for a while so I will keep running some heat tests and run them longer to see what temp it gets to.

What you sat is true, and I believed the same thing.

If they can grow in a pc case why not me, but you need plants (Dwarfs that grow short)

Also growing with limited space takes a lot of experience, and yes you can stealth a wardrobe closet. There are many threads with stealth wardrobe closets and dressers.

If your heat is under control then good.

If you don't believe me then give it a shot, and you will see exactly what I am talking about

Thanks for the advice. Heat is under control, for the most part. I haven't run it for a full 18 hours or 24 hours to test it yet but I should know by tomorrow. I understand that height is extremely limited here, and I am going to do my best with what I have, as this is really the only place I have that was even feasibly usable . Thank you for your advice though, I'm trying to see if I can maybe find a larger dresser or something to use but I will most likely still end up with this one.

EDIT: Also I planned on low stress training already because it should help a little with my height limitations.

Plus if it was my box id move the two intake fans up, and use them for exhaust also then i would cut out more intake wholes across bottom add a fan and have it blowing between your lights and the tops of your plants just my two cents

Yeah I think maybe 2 more fans on the bottom and top wouldn't hurt, they were only $2 a piece. I am getting a small desk fan and putting it on the back wall facing right on the light to help further with heat as well as moving air around in the cabinet, most likely tomorrow. Thanks for the feedback guys I appreciate it.
