some will tell you that a plant from seed will yield more, and i think they're right, if you're growing outdoors. plants from seeds have a tap root, and thats the big advantage, they can get anchored better, and reach out further for food.
clones have a fibrous root system with no tap root, which isn't a problem if the plant is growing in a pot in controlled conditions.
so inside, i don't think it matters, unless you plan to grow very large plants from seeds, you'd need a deep container for the tap root, i would think.
i grow from seeds then clone for a while till i find a new strain i like. if i buy 10 femm seeds, grow two, and like one a lot, i can clone that plant for a while, and still have 8 more seeds to try to get that pheno from again.
