Hello All,
This is my first grow and I am getting concerned about the lack of progress my plants have made. They are a week and a half old and dont seem to be growing or developing as quickly as I thought they would.
Strains:
Purple Wreak x2
Cheese x1
Bag Seed x 1
They popped up out of the ground on 3/23 and havent done much since, there has been minor developments, but they havet grown any taller. The bag seed was planted a few days later, and of all of them, seems to be doing the best.
I took pictures with a standard bic lighter so you can see just how tiny they are. They have been about 18" below my cool tube 600watt hps light since day 1.
Lighting: 18/6
Temp Range: 80 degrees w/ lights on, 65 degrees with lights off
Humidity: 20-30%
Nutes: I fed them once at 1/4 strength with FF Big Bloom on day 5 (ppm was 210)
Watering/Soil: (Note) They were in 3" coco pots with light warrior soil, but I transfered them yesterday to gallon pots. I put 3-4" of ocean forrest on the bottom and filled the rest with light warrior.
When they were in the coco pots I had to water every 24 hours becuase the soil dried out so quick.
I watered them into the new gallon pots until water dripped out the drain holes, now I dont plan on watering again for 4-5 days
I allow my tap water to sit out for a day or two to dissapate the chlorine and then adjust the Ph to 6.5
I am concerned because the leaves on both my purple wreak plants are curling down and are slightly yellowish. The cotyledons on one of the plants is already starting to turn brown (which is normal) but I thought the plant would have grown a little more before that happened.
They sprouted their next set of adult leaves about 5 days ago, and they havent developed at all since then.
When I transfered the plants, the roots were poking out the bottom of the coco pots.
Here are my other plants. Cheese looks ok...but again, still not really developing. The bag seed is about 4 days behind the others.
So I guess my question is do these plants look ok? Am I over reacting or is something going wrong?
