My new setup, what do you think?

Just got it up and running a little while ago and still need to do some minor touches.

I'm waiting for my White Widow and White Castle from Nirvana. I'm going to put 2 of each in the pots you can see. They are 10" 2.5 gal self-watering pots. The light is an SS2 400w air cooled hood inside of a 3x3x6.5 ft tent. I'm venting it out with a 190cfm 4" inline fan with carbon filter. I'll attach the filter later if needed. The setup is in my basement which stays 60 degrees Fahrenheit with 60% humidity all year so keeping the tent cool won't be an issue.

That's bag-seed I've been vegging and LSTing under a 42w cfl grow light for a little over a month that you can see growing in it right now. I sexed it almost 2 weeks ago and found out it was a girl so I figured I'd give it a couple weeks under the big light until I get something good to grow. The light has a built-in switchable ballast and came with both HPS and MH bulbs. I'll probably upgrade HPS bulbs when this one goes.

For ferts I'm just going to use Superthrive for the first few weeks then Fox Farms Beastie Bloomz a couple weeks into flower along with Black strap molasses. I make my own soil so feeding isn't necessary.

I've been building this setup in my head for quite some time and think I have gotten it just right for my needs. Please be easy on any criticism. Outdoor growing is great and all (if you live near the equator) but just not for me being so far north.

+Rep for good opinions. I dropped a lot of money on this gear and I hope to produce some quality buds. As of yet I still haven't fully finished out a grow because of outdoor weather so I am very new to indoor growing.

Watch how much superthrive you use......It can stunt growth If overused I heard. I only use it during transplants. I was told to not use it during flower.....Your setup looks nice man.......Moment Of Silence for the windstorm plant.......................

Thanks for the warning. I've never used it before but I hear good things if used correctly and only for the very first few weeks. I'm hoping it will take care of any transplanting stress and possibly help make a stronger root system. I want to keep my grows nice and simple so I don't have so many issues.

I ordered the White Wonder package from Nirvana, White Widow and White Castle. Never grew anything but bagseed so far.

Good idea, thats why Im going to be using subcools supersoil here real soon.....Just add water...The results look good..

Hopefully the light in the tent will keep your humidity down in the tent, I had to get a dehumidifier in my basement though because of mold/rot

It's seems to be staying around 45% in the tent but I don't have much for plants or moisture in it yet. I'll have to watch it close when I get 4 in there.

I've heard a lot about White Widow and it seems to be the most popular amongst growers but have never heard of White Castle until I ordered it. Anybody have any feedback on that strain?

never heard of white castle. But GOD I hate white castle so I wouldn't by that strain just because of the name. I did order some white rhino from them though. I am going to pop them in about a week or so to create a mother plant.

Cool. I don't think I'm going to clone. I want to keep it pretty basic so I'll just order seeds from different places and see what I like. I guess White Castle is suppose to be an F1 cross of Ice (father) and White Widow (mother). I'm just getting into the growing scene so I'll probably never grow the same strains twice. I want to keep it more of a hobby since it's more about the love of the plant for me.
