my new cfl bulb??

i went today and got a new CFL bulb for my grow box. do you guys think this will work for flowering?? it is damn bright, not real hot, and more of a red spectrum. heres some pic of the bulb box and bulb.

I've got those, although mine may be a 350. I found that it produces better results than a T5.

if it says 2700 to 3000K on the box its good for budding

I have one of those in my cab. Got it at Lowe's. Those will give you about 3900 Lumens per bulb. I flowered with one of those and 4 42w cfls from wal-mart and harvested a decent amount. Give it a shot. Just make sure that bulb is close but not too close. They do get hot, so you will need to ventilate it or cool it off somehow.

cool!!! i got the right bulb for the job thanks guys!!!!!!!!!! i am going to start 12/12 today when i change my nutrients. should i leave the light off for 24hours??

p.s be careful if any CFL's brake they contain .5ml mercury vapour or more

In the Marijuana Horticulture Bible by Jorge Cervantes, he says to give the plants 36 hours of uninterrupted darkness to induce flowering. After that, go to 12/12.

I purchased one of these but didnt like it, so took it back the next day. Just ordered some off ebay.
