My lights shat on me

Ok so i was stoked to get my 125w cfls right, they get here yesterday and i go to try them out and they ARE BROKEN (well half broken, only one side lit up)!!! Uterly pissed i call the company and send them back today, the only thing they could do was give me a full refund or charge me about half the cost of a new bulb (hella lame). so i told them to get bent and give me my money, that i would take my buisness elsewhere. It was kind of good because as i left them running for about a half hour they got to hot for me even to touch for more than a second, and with working in small conditions i decided to go smaller and spread out.

Im thinking i will go 42w's and and 26w's for about 2 plants in a 14x30x44 in cab. Im still wondering how many i will need however, so i figured ide put this up and ask people what they were using to get an idea. I plan on doing the correct spectrum for the correct cycle, but how many will i need of each?

So what are you all using CFL wise? Wattage? Number of lights and possition? On how many plants?

I'm currently using 4 42w, 8 26w, and 1 mystery bulb. 6 are positioned over the 3 plants and the other 7 are hanging around the sides of the plants. I didn't bother buying different spectrums for vegging and flowering. All the bulbs are 2700-2800K and they vegged just fine. They're on day 8 or 9 of 12/12. :peace:

A lot of people wonder about that. They did excellent. I only vegged them for 14 or 15 days. I count vegging from the time they pop their heads up through the soil. The pic above is from today (day 8 of flowering). :peace:
