My Journal-Blue Mystic, Bubblegummer, and Indica Champion

Whattup, i dont really know how to deal with all the journal stuff so im just going to make this my journal


Im growing Blue Mystic, Bubblegummer, and Indica Champion (Either Ice Cream, Sensi Star, or Whiteberry, came in a pacc and dont know which seed was which)

Im using just a stor-it-all closet from lowes, 400 wt MH and HPS

Im growing in roccwool and using GH Flora series nutes (Flora Micro, Flora Gro, and Flora Bloom)

They were put in the roccwool on 2/21/11


Here are a few pictures of how they doing now!

All advice is welcomed, this is my first grow. I just got tired of paying alot of money for some bullshit (70 a half for some bricc, or 70 a 1/8th of some decent not great nug)


Hope to hear from some of yall, right now not much is going on i mean the babies are looking great (in my opinion)

I think i should top them, im 3 weeks into veg and my blue mystic has about 4 nodes, bubblegummer bout 3, and the IC is kinda behind on the growth. I will take pictures when i get home from work today, but when is the best time to top?


I saw a post about super topping or something, where you top them right above the 2nd node, but i also heard let it get 4 nodes and then top it, what are yalls suggestions?

based on what I can see in the tiny pics, they look good. Sorry I can not help with the topping, haven't tried it yet

Yeah, those pictures sure are tiny! You probably should follow the rules and guidelines that you have read regarding topping. I experimented with my pregrow, I didn't try it until my plants were kind of tall so that I could get a large enough top to clone. A nice size top makes for a beautiful clone that grows better than clones taken from the bottom and sides (IMO). I am not a wasteful person so I can't see cutting away from my plant and not being able to use it, if at all possible. Do your own experiment to see what might work best for you

msbbb, yea i dont got my shit ready to start cloning yet, first i grow and smoke, then i grow clone and smoke,lol baby steps. Yea, i think they are ready though to be topped and i might try tonight.

I just started giving them aggresive vegatation nutes (GH Flora Series) and they are fuccing growin like crazy.

ive just popped a bubblegummer with some regs at weekend i always top my plants and use uncle bens technique nowadays
give em at least 1 week veg afterwards gd luck with ya grow here's the link

2nd pic is (bigger plant) bubblegummer and the Indica Champion in the bacc (for some reason she aint trying to grow like the others)

Ya girls are doin fine jst as they should be for their age when ya switch to flower
thats when they fill out smaller and bushier the better while veggin

45King maybe you can help me, i wanted to try that topping teq, but im kinda confused on what are the "real" nodes. Like are the first set considered "real" or do i go up one. On the third picture i labeled them, what i think are nodes, am i right.

These were taking this morning before work, they just keep growing, cant wait to start flowering them in 2 weeks, thats why i wanted to top this weekend.

on ya 3rd pic i would cut between the 3rd and 4th node
it will leave 6 shoots but as you grow them 4 will be main
with 2 smaller ones which ya could use for clones even
if ya leave em on yll still get ya 4 mains and 2 smaller ones
ya cant lose either way

Hey I didn't see where your bubblegummer bean was from, I am currently growing one from female seeds on the tude. I am subed up and VERY interested in how your bubblegummer turns out. I am trying to track down a true bubblegum strain that actualy tastes like bazoka bubblegum.

Ive just started 1 from female seeds too read a lot of gd things
about it 1 of us at least should get the bazooka pheno we might all get it

Really? I have read mixed reviews of the strain. I have one going right now but she doesn't look like she is doing to well. I got this one as a freebie and I am super excited about her! If she doesn't do well I will order some more if you guys do well with them. It may have just been a bad bean.

pH stays around 6.2 in my plants


just wish the IC (SS/IC/WB) would grow like the other two


I didnt do the uncle ben's method with the blue mystic or bubblegummer (kinda scared, they grew so much i didnt want to fucc em up...over cautious...but i did try it with the IC plant) but i did top all of the plants. They are about 12" now.


I will post some pictures in the morning.

I think they are named, but the first pic is the Blue Mystic, 2nd is of the Bubblegummer, 3rd is the Indica Champion Strain (SS/IC/WB), the 4th is of all 3 plants i got in my closet!

1 week from switching to 12/12 flowering, so hopefully by mid may its harvest time.

pH pretty steady anywhere between 6.0-6.5, no light burn yet (that i think, i keep looking especially at the BM because its bigger than the other girls), no nute burn, actually since i switched to the aggressive vegatative mix, they have really took off, hopefully i can get them to 20" by the time i switch them to flowering.

I gotta go to the local shop to get some more roccwool pellets, i ran out when planting and its a 2 hr trip.

I just regularly top'd the BM and Bubblegummer but i think i tried,lol, Uncle Bens Method or whatever on the IC, i didnt want to lose alot of growth on the other plants and im nervous, i dont wanna fucc them up 2 bad and not get a good harvest, so if everything turns out right i will do them next time.

Man those ladies look sick bro! Good job! I potted up my bubblegummer last night along with a couple of other ladies. Hopefully she will bounce back she doesn't look good right now! But if she doesn't I will just order some more beans.

The STANK has already begun though, kinda tripped me out, went home last week and was like, damn did somebody drop some shit off, nope just my lil babies, im getting a carbon filter as soon as i can afford it!

LOL yeah when I go out and come back home when I walk into the house it smells like weed BAD! I have anywhere from 20-30 plants going though, all legal! I am a provider for one person and I have my card so I can legaly grow 30 plants. If you aren't legal then a carbon filter is a must! If they are stinky now wait till they are in flower, your whole place is going to stink! I haven't even taken any pic's of my little sick bubblegummer yet. My grow in my sig is my perpetual grow. I have so many plants cycleing through right now it would be a pain in the ass doing a journal for each plant, or even a journal for 4 plants at a time! I was planing on doing one on my bubblegummer just so RIU had one. I think yours is the only one right now, or it is one of very few! If she bounces back I may just do a strain report with a ton of pic's of the grow giving out grow info and end result.
