my garden is 20 miles away. need to visit everyday?

I finally secured a spot for an outdoor garden, but it is 30 miles away. I've grown indoors for a few years, but this is my first outdoor grow. Do I need to visit my plants everyday? Also, When would be the most productive time to visit them? Daybreak, sundown, afternoons? Thanks!

the more often you visit your plants to water and tend them the better the final product will be, your plants can probably last two weeks between visits if necessary.

as for what time to visit, go whatever time is the least heat, you dont want anybody to find you and be suspicious about what your doing

My grows are always out in the boonies as well. I usually only visit once every 2 weeks during the first 2 months. I use the buddy or "dropoff" method. A trusted friend and I get there early in the morning before daybreak and I jump out with my supplies and head to the patch(es). When insect/pest pressure and watering needs increase late in the summer I go a little more frequently. This continues all the way until harvest. I do the majority of trimming and processing at the patch and stick everything in garbage bags to be brought back home for finishing and curing. Once done I give my buddy a 25% cut of the final yield. My location method is pretty simple. Near water, southern exposure, in the open as much as possible for light and if you can hear a car...you aren't far enough out.
