My first plant sprouted with the seed attached!

My first plant has just sprouted this morning with the seed attached and i heard i am suppost to take the seed off but im scared it will hurt it.. it seems like it's on pretty strong and i don't want to wreck the plant.. help please!

don't touch it.. it will fall off on its own

The plant will shed it when it's ready, you'll be just fine.

yah, i've had the same thing happen a couple of times and the shell usually hangs on for maybe two or three days before it finally falls off.. it doesn't hurt anything at all, not really sure why some beans do this and some don't, but its all good either way..

pull it off it actually slips off prtty ez and helps ur plants by lettin the cotyledons open fully
