high all,

right now I am running a 250W MH Floralux light that I got from a friend, I have a pretty large fan and 8 plants 2 1/2 to 4 weeks old, I want to get a better light and I wont be using bagseed at all next grow (5 bagseed 2 White Rhino fem and 1 Thai Super Skunk) This is my projected set up, any input would be greatly appreciated I had some ?'s I put at the bottom.

grow space is a closet, white walls and alluminum foil on the doors the dimensions are >5.5 feet wide 2.5 feet deep, and at least 6.5 feet tall

Xtrasun® Convertible Standard Halide / Sodium
400 Watt Xtrasun®
6-Inch AC Reflector
Plant Grow Light System

20 inch circular floor fan, doesnt oscillate

I am going to get some big buckets of ONA gel and these awesome odor eliminating renuzit things all over the house for odor control, plus all rooms other than mine have windows open 24/7

Environment:(with 250W MH and a 5000 lumen CFL "light strip")

daytime:
temp 78-82
humidity gets down to 40

nightime
temp: 68-78
humidity: up to 65%

Has anyone used the Xtrasun systems? I know its a value brand and I dont want to buy junk

summer is coming and that means humidity! It will be a problem during flowering so any suggestions on how large a dehumidifier I should get or other tricks?

how much hotter will the 400W system get? this one has a remote ballast that I might not even have to have in the closet itself, and my house doesnt have AC in it but the avg high in july (flower time) is only about 80, but obviously some weeks are hotter than others. My light is off from 11 am to 5pm and I plan to go 11pm to 11 am for flower. If heat is an issue what are some of your guys tricks without breaking the bank?

Thanks to all responders!:joint::joint:

if it gets too humid and to prevent your plants leaves from drying out... put 2 cereal dowls in your grow rooms filled up with properly pH balanced water(6.3 - 6.8) the MH system you are running is perfect for veg unfortunately you will need an HPS for your flowering. and so you know on regular... flowering time outdoors isnt july! its september - october!

if you flower from 11pm-11am make sure its lightproof much easier to flower from 11am -11pm in daylight hrs....i have xtra sun 600 watt air cooled....glass shield makes it so i havent had to hook up vents....very good product...just one of those companys that sells cheap cuz they dont rip ppl off not cuz its poor quality

foil is used for wrapping left overs not for growing.lol It reflects more heat than light! Flat white paint is better!
Having no ac may be a problem. But it may not. Over 85 without co2 is a problem.
