Right now I have 5 23w daylights, four with cans above it and one without the can on the bottom. Ive been just watering them and rotating them going to wait about two more weeks for the hindu to catch up then ill switch the lights out with 5 43w soft whites and possibly thinking about getting some t8 tubes in there?

Also I'm using an emergency blanket to reflect my light is that chill?

damn there looking real nice. Hey for the lights try using a 2:1 ratio of both veg and flowering lights to achieve the full spectrum. for example if you have 5 daylight bulbs try adding 2 of 3 soft white bulbs as well. Its better for the plants with a mixture of spectrums. Other than that the plants do look awesome

When I return I plan on buying House & Garden nutes. Ive been recommended to use this stuff from a good grower but only plan on going with; soil a and b, and their bud-xl nutes. Anyone ever heard of this brand?

Well i'm back from my trip. My college team didn't win (OU), oh well though it was still great time. The plants made it but the hindu isn't looking too pretty. I decided to throw it outside because my other three are taking the majority of the closet as of now. Tomorrow im going go make a run down to the local hydro store and get some nutes. I was recommended 'House & Garden' but I was wondering your guys thoughts. Ill post some progress pics tomorrow for everyone to see.

Plants look good!
I would suggest something that we are use to like fox far, botanicare...
so that if you run into problems we can help.

Ahh too late I gave in and went to the hydro store and bought some of the 'House & Garden'. Everyone in the store recommended me as this as their premium nutes so I'm gonna try them out.

I just through my plants into the flowering stage yesterday 12/12.

Im only running 5 23w Red's and 2 23w Blue's as of now and will possibly put in more eventually.

Ill have some new pics by the end of this week.

Alright here is some new and improved pictures. I am currently in my first week of flowering and just started adding nutrients. The nutes shown are House & Garden. I am only running the soil a & b right now but next pay check I am going to pick up the bud-xl they offer.

They lights shown are:

6-23w 2700k Lights
2-23w 6500k Daylights
1-65w 2700k <-- Too tempted to get one

They lights are on 12/12 and I can't wait to see these guys in a week or two. Any comments or suggestions. After all this is my first grow... and I'm loving it!

Well I was thinking about that but I actually wanted to try to contain the plants and keep them small. Would having smaller pots do that?

Thats a good question that I don't know. I think the size would be the same but once the roots are not growing then you'll see stunted growth which could be bad for flowering but I think we need to ask an expert

Hey everyone, It's been awhile seen my last post. I am so amazed on how successful my first grow has been so far. I am currently in my second week of flowering and there is clearly a lot of little guys popping out all over the place. It is simply just beautiful. I just introduced another House & Garden product called Bud-XL at the start of week two and now every time I take a peek of it always looks better. When I bought the nutrients at the hydro store a worker there gave me a free sample of a new formula they got called Bloombastic. All in all I'm now running 4 nutrients and following a feeding chart that they gave me. I'll do my best to keep everyone updated. Thanks!
