What kind of Floro's is it under? are they CFL? do you know the color temp? whats the lumen's output of your bulbs?
how far above your plant is your lights? (From what you said that its on its 2nd set of leaves and pretty big, also using a pop sickle stick to keep it up right).
From the sounds of it your plant has gotten a tad bit tall and is falling over? Keeping the lights with 1" of the top of your plant will make your plant tighten up its node spacing & keep its height down.
If your light is already 1-2" above the top of your plant whats your Temp/Humidity like? (This can also cause your plant to be tall and stretched)..
If your plant is on its 2nd set of leaves and tall enough to start falling over because of the lack of the stem being sturdy Re-potting could be very dangerous at this point in your seedlings life. (Since your stem sounds stretched and a little weak it would be very easy to break during re-potting right now).
If you do not have to re-pot right now I would suggest waiting a little bit and letting your plant tighten up a little and your stem get some girth/strength to it before doing so.
If you can I would try and put more dirt inside your current pot and bury some of that stretched stem below the surface of the dirt (do not bend your stem down so you can bury it, pile dirt up around your stem CAREFULLY).
But if you think your stem may be too weak at this point to be able to safely bury or re-pot I would keep the light within 1-2" of the top of your plant and continue to grow it for another week before re-potting it. If possible also get a small oscillating fan and have it barely blow on your plant every few seconds, this will also toughen up your stem
Sorry about not having any real good info for you, It was a little hard to really try and help with just the text that was provided
But hey i'm giving it a shot
As for what soil you should use, no clue, everyone has different results with everything. just don't use MG soil unless you plan on only giving it nutes every few weeks
at a very low % of nute solution (MG + nutes in your water = dead or close to dead plant in probably 95% of all threads that contain MG soil and using supplemental nutes in the water).
Also was the seed from known good genetics? or just a seed from some good bag weed?
Either way If it is not feminized I would toss a few more seeds in some dirt and get some more going. I would hate for you to grow that lil one for a month or so then find out you got yourself a male and be sent back to square 1 because there are no others growing.
Anyways I wish you the best of luck and I will try and answer whatever questions you may have or point you in the right direction to get the answer you need.
Always take my advice or advice from others with a grain of salt. What works for me might suck for you & vice versa. Learning how to grow is really more of a trial and error process.
