Ive been lurking awhile and finally got time to toss some photos and a small explaination of what ive got going so i can have the pleasure of all your guys knownledge. Im 4 weeks and 3 days from the time a germinated seed was placed in soil, strain is unknown. i stumbled upon a large quanity of quality bagseeds, and thats when i got the idea....... lmao Anyways since day one i have run a 24 hr light cycle under what started as two 26w cfl's and is now 4 26w 6500k cfl's and 3 20w 6500k cfl's. Realizing that i wanted to this to stay on a some what small budget i did use MG moisture control with addition perlite mixed as roughly 20%. As the seedlings started in Solo cups, then moved into 8qt containers at roughly 2 weeks i have not introduced any nutrients, simply water thus far. i was fearful the MG would have a potentially dangerous amount already so i assumed let the soil do the work for now? ( looking for some thoughts there please?) I currently am planing to buy 3 gal containers and install odor control and move towards flowering possibly this weekend due to plant size and my fear/lack of knownledge of how much these plants will stretch and i am under a restricted height. ( question being how long should you wait to transistion to flower after transplanting? ) On a side note roughly the 2-2.5 week mark i noticed a surprisingly strong skunk like odor from the plants, first thought was ALREADY? ( obviously i know very little, so tell me does the smell give me any indication of plant sex, or does is simply tell me if im lucky to get a female it will certainly be a smelly one? ) I wanted to start the flowering process with 18 26w 2700k cfl bulbs, not knowing how many females i will have i would like to start there. ( Please comment? ) I attempted to FIM two of the plants, one resulted in two shoots, the second turned into four? ( is that correct or did i miss something? lol ) i also supper cropped a total of 3 places on two of the plants, one of the last things i wanted some input on is cloning. Due to the fact that im inexperienced and i do have a height restriction ( some what stealth grow lol ) i need to flower the sooner the better so leads me to this do i take a clone from each then flip the lights? (not knowning if the clones will survive due to my lack of experience) Are there any other options? well ive babbled on long enough so here are the pics. look forward to learning from all your comment and suggestions.
