I'm a newbie here and in growing. I planted my first ever seeds the first week in May.

I live in the DFW area and have been living through a very hot summer. The two hottest days at my house were both 110, and its been over a hundred now for I think 43 days.

My only other post was right before I nutrient burned a 24" shortrider and a 22" and 24" auto assassin, all of which died.

I did manage to harvest a 7" snowyder, out of which I got a whopping 4 Gs of dried bud. It was excellent smoke; very mild smoke with kind of a fruity taste and a powewrful buzz.

All three plants mentioned so far were grown in 3-gal pots which I usually left outside at night, but did bring in on occassion.

I decided to grow one snowryder in the ground, which is getting close to harvest. Its 15" tall and has a heavenly smell. It's hard to desribe, kinda like fruity fuel.

I'm proud of this plant surviving the heat so well. It's planted right in front of a small palm tree, so it gets some shade in the morning and late afternoon. As you can see in the photos, the plant actually grew on an angle to get more sun. So if anyone is looking for a good strain is a hot area, snowryder from short stuff seems to like the heat.
