My First Cabinet Grow

G'day

In the next few weeks i will be starting my first grow. I have a cabinet in the kitchen measuring 17"D x 23"W x 67.5"H. I figure i will divide it up into 2 chambers. 1 measuring about 20" in height for cloning/veging based on https://www.rollitup.org/do-yourself/103903-best-diy-ez-walmart-dwc.html and the remainder being for an ebb and flow system to flower 2 plants.
Do you think i should increase 1?

I will use 4 24w daylight cfl's to light the veg room and a 250 watt hps for flowering.

Will this provide enough light?

Any thoughts on my potential setup would be much appreciated.
I'm keen to get growing.

Cheers

sounds like a good start. your going to need to think about how the deal with the heat from the 250w hps maybe some fans or some thing along those lines.

thanks for that link to the cloner i think i might buld one tomarow:weed:

I was thinking of adding an outtake fan with carbon filter at the top and an intake near base of plant. I will add a passive outtake and desk fan to get air moving if it gets to hot.

Do you think the veg area needs its own intake/outake? I will probably seal it off with a cloth of some kind if not its own set of doors so each section can run own light schedule without affecting the other.

I was also wondering if adding 2-4 additional 24w daylight cfls to the flower area significantly increase temperature? should i place them on top with current lights, side, or shining up from bottom? is 24w strong enough?

I should also note that this is my first grow ever, not just first cabinet grow, so any direction is needed

Cheers
