My fan doesn't seem to have a cfm rating.

huh..interesting. i would make a guess, since 150 is in the model number that it's CFM is 150. But I could be way off.
I think you're way off. My other 6" fan has a cfm rating of 720, and that's just a plastic in-line fan.
This one is a metal [SIZE=-1]centrifugal[/SIZE] fan.

Well...I believe the company name is xpelair....

The 150 in the model name is 150mm...for the diameter of the fan.

This fan with zero static resistance is ~340cfm. There is a graph on the pdf that this can be extrapolated from

If that's true (it does seem to be), why such a large difference in cfm rating between this fan and my cheaper plastic fan? It' isn't even half as powerful as my cheaper plastic fan.

Just because it is built to last does not mean it pushes more air.

I have a heavy duty blower that pushes 256cfm...it is made out of metal.
