my 'f$% the police!' 215 garden...

hey der! got me 215 and wanted to share some pics of my grow thus far...its not meant to be "stealth" in any way...just out of sight.

heres the stats:

3 baby mama's are 2 days into flower, 20 clones are in the veg 'cab' just-a rootin' away, and the 400 is a-blazin' ....life is good.


the old closet setup..... (for veggie's)













new veg/clone "cab"....

specs:
14x48x30" fishtank stand
(w/ emergancy blanky for reflective material...ran out of white paint.)
2x24w T5HO retrofit (w/ custom reflectors)
180cfm exhaust fan
passive intake
mini clone army....
will have diy Co2 soon...

tahnks...i used to have a 250w hps under there in a cooltube...but the temps were insane. now its my veg cab out of necessity. it werks.

hey great setup... i have the same spray bottle!

why do you need all that ducting/fan etc for just that lil bit of floro light under the tank? it cant possibly get that hot.. esp w/ all the air leaks via the back.

other than the passive intake, the rear is sealed....so yeah, venting is necessary. plus, theyre T5HO, so they get a lil warm. i dont really need a 180cfm fan w/ 6" ducting...but thats what i had layin around, so that what i used...damn near silent anyway.

Those plants look awesome. Green, lush and perfect. Those are going to be powerhouse plants given how they look now.

not always from the tops...but these were ridiculously overgrown, so i chopped em down!

^tahts fully up to you....my main deciding point is vertical height.....i normally start em at 12" or after 3wks of vegging (6wks from cutting)....

or in other werds: DOEEET!!!!

lol im going to make up my drak area tomorrow and get it started after tomorrow ill have 3 areas on veg area grow area and flower area.

i hope when i do go 12/12 that they are all females dont know yet i just ger... some white snow crystal and blue berry and to out of the three have came up cant wait

you'd have almost dbl the space w/out all that big ass ducting lol..its just some thin fabric covering it isnt it? you would get plenty of intake air via the fabric and air leaks since its not airtight..I would think that just a pc or similiar fan blowing inside or as the exhaust w/ out the ducts would be enough.. the more room the better right?

tru dat... i reallty might just invest in a pc fan or two wen i need more space.....i had a couple in my first cfl grow, so i know theyre simple to wire and install...

so here's my 400w hps closet...

i have yet to put a duct-cover over the 'in' vent, but the light doesnt shine thru to the inside of the closet, so it can wait a day or two. i sat inside the closet just to make sure ther are no inward lightleaks....


hmm....


i put the ballast here so its out of sight and so there's less heat in the closet.

oh yeeah...


im using my humidifier to pull cool air in from the outside....(i'd estimate to be around 150-180cfm.)


she keep a da temps real niice like....yes, it is 73.8 under my light...


the 6" exhaust ran thru an air-cooled hood helps a lil too....


i think the plants likes it.....




2 days into flower and they have lots of hairs....
