my econo grow

hey everyone what up? I decided to give up buying weed and grow my own, wow is this going to be cool. I have done some shopping and this is what I have got ordered already


2 96x48x78 giantex tents
3 1200watt led 6w diode lights, 3 more will be ordered next week

I am getting and AC and running a cool air vent for each tent controlled by thermostat. I have plans of ordering from Gorilla seeds but dont have a card of any type for the order need some advice on this. my goal is to set up three tents, three lights each. My first run will be autos, but my goal is to set up six plants, each being a scrog panel of 3x4 per plant. two tents will be dedicated to this while the autos are running. Once the autos are done I will set up the third tent up for a scrog. So far it will cost me under $1000 to stock each tent with everything. 3200 watts led for $507, Tent $125.99 each seeds @100 per tent Ac $125, pots $50, soil $50. for co2 I will use lecture bottles.

For me its all about the reveg machine

I suggest NOT starting out with autos. They are utterly unforgiving of mistakes, and there IS a learning curve in this hobby, meaning there will be mistakes. Photos on the other hand, can be "vegged through" any mistakes and issues that occur.

And forget CO2, its an utter waste of time money and effort until you get your grow skills spot on. Your breath is all the CO2 they need.

This is a massive fail waiting to happen.... Why in the world do you have so many tents? And those lights you bought really arent going to be good enough for all that space.

Just remember dude, even if you set all this up today, you're still gonna be buying weed for the next 3 or 4 months anyway whilst you wait for your plants to germ, veg, flower, dry and cure. Unless you're actually quitting weed until yours are ready, I'd factor in usual buying costs too, as growing your own ain't a quick solution, though fair play you doing it as always better sooner rather than later.

For my 2 cents input, it seems like you've read alot of technical stuff so far, though I'd recommend get the basics of just growing plants down first, before you get into maximising yields. I agree 3 tents may be overkill, though my advice would be use 1 tent as veg tent and the other 2 as flower tents (or 1 flower tent with 2 lights in maybe better) and get them set on cycle so you're harvesting every 8 weeks - once first lot are 2 weeks into flower, germ next batch of seeds so they get 2 weeds germ/seedling time and 4 weeks veg, then they're ready to straight away replace the ones in flower room at harvest time, and keep it rotating round. And i agree don't bother with autos first as can be temperamental and they certainly won't satisfy any need for 'quck' weed - stick to good quality photos, set up a solid routine and it'll pay off in the long run.
