my DIY carbon filter , pc fans what you reckon

i attached a pc fan to 1 meter of aliminuimun ducting 4in wide cost me about £8 for 10m on ebay. at the other end i squezed some activated carbon sponge into it cost me about £5 from an aquarium shop came with a spare sponge(helpful when i need to replace it after a month or two).
the sponge is about 1cm thick.

** i put a bit of wire across the ducting on the inside so the sponge didnt get sucked in .. the pc fans arent really powerfull so i have two of them one at the top and one in the middle

Might be ok for a small grow but if you have some really spicy goodness flowering you may need to replace the carbon.....but I dont even have 1 grow yet so what do I know. Hope it works for you....

its in a wardrobe in the garage just to keep the smell down a bit so neighbours dont walk by my garage and notice it,i only have 3 plants

should be fine imo
