So i used 14gs of regular bud and 3 stick of butter.

We put the butter in the pot, let it melt ( we made sure we didnt BURN the butter)

Then added the GRINDED up weed:hug: & water, then stired every 20 minutes

We let it have a slight simmer for about close to 3 hours.

After that we drained all the butter through the coffee strainer into the tubberware.

We saw that the water seperated from the butter remarkably fast.

Then we put in the fridge for about 3 hours (until hard)

When done we outline the butter in the tubbaware with a knife and plopped it out, dumped the acess water at the bottom. Now ready to spread!:-P

RESULTS :leaf:

Butter tasted kind of like weed stem n butter mixed lol, the taste almost makes me want to gag even when on somthing to eat.

Anyways so me and by buddies plopped some toast in and buttered our shits up. then we ate it.

After about one hour i deff felt somthing it was more like a BODY HIGH rather than a head/eye high. I felt myself to be REALLY relaxed and felt almost rather numb. i could tell my reflexes were a bit off as well. (almost if i would have taking like a percaset or somthing. It deff didnt have its full potential, at least i dont think so.

So here's a few questions......

How do you think it wasent to its full potential, was it the bud ratio to the sticks of butter? or maybe i should have let it simmer for longer????? or one 15 minute period of time i think it was boiling rather than simmering??? but i fixed that quick

anyhelp would be great guys :)

I made my first batch after a harvest and used probably 30 grams some buds and some trimmings. The process is really simple just time consuming. I made the brownies on a Sunday and I was finally back to normal (for me) sometime during the afternoon on Tuesday. The best way to do it IMO is to boil the weed in water for an hour then add a pound of butter and boil it for another hour. Let it cool completely (the butter is hard) then boil it another hour. Pour in through some cheese cloth to get all the chunks out and then let it harden in the frig. Break the butter off the top and warm it gently in a saucepan and pour it in to containers. I like to put a half cup in to each container. I haven't varied my recipe at all which is unusual for me. I almost killed us one night putting it on some broccoli (go figure!!) ~Cheers!
