My breeding project

I'm going to start my first major breeding project... I have done my own crosses before with pretty good success, but this is going to be a full on breeding project. I am starting this journal because I want to share my experience as well as get input since many minds are better than 1, but since I'm actually looking to one day go pro, some things might get left out to protect my hard work since one day I'd like to enter my strain in a cup, or dare I say maybe even win one. :-P

On that note, let me introduce phase 1 and the star of it.

Phase 1

Momma is a feminized World of Seeds (nl x big bud) she has been vegging for5 days now. *When she gets big enough I'm going to take a single clone of her to be used as a mother plant. I'm then going to flower and pollinate the original with pollen collected from "the male" <--example of info getting left out :p plant that I collected about 2 weeks ago. I'll take a picture of her after i post this. i had to move her a few days ago and she bent over at the ground but it did not pinch so she is ok but she hasn't stood back all the way up yet. shes still leaning a lot.

Current environment
light - 24 hours on under a single 13w cfl about 1/4 inch from the leaves ish
temp - 78 F at the leaves
soil - mix 80 % miracle grow organic potting mix 20% compost
water - spring water from a natural spring in my back yard

After cloning she will get moved to her vacation home to flower under a 400w hps.

So just went to go find my camera but the battery is dead and my charger is mia... so i had to use my phone so forgive the really crappy pictures as my phone is a phone and not a camera

so its been 4 days shes still not totally upright but she's a happy girl here is a update pic, also, i've got a question about trimming and seed production, does anybody have any experience with seeding plants comparing trimmed vs untrimmed plants. I was thinking about this today remembering something a wine maker told me once about how pruning a grapevine at different stages ex. before flowering begins and after, causing differences in hormone production as well as sugar production etc. I'm thinking about trying some experiments to test if the seed production is sped up or slowed down, if genetic traits are more pronounced (hybrid vigor), and things of this nature. any input?Photo10040022.jpg
