My attic grow

ive decided to go with my attic to grow in and heres what my set up is gonna look like. Its my first grow so im going to have a veg cabinet and a flowering cabinet. Both cabinets will be 3 by 2 by 1 feet so im able to get 2 plants flowering at a time. In my veg cab im gonna have (2)2 foot floresecents and in my flowering im gonna have a 250 watt. I've designed it so that my outake goes out the vent in my attic wich is right beside my chimney. My real question now is do you think that my grow can be detected on FLIR if i put a layer of lead around the cabinets keeping in mind that my roof isnot insoluated? Im also wondering if the light set up ive got going is preety decent?

live hard, crash with no remains.

attic grows require some serious ventilation and your gunna need something to control the high temps your gunna have with your grow.

the thing is that im in canada so if anything my attic will get cold since its only insolated on the bottom. So im running a heater into the boxes to keep at like a 80F

for your veg cab paint the inside with a reflective paint or use mirrors. i would have at least 3 to 4 cfls for your veg room with proper ventilation in and out and a carbon filter if your worried about smell. for your flowering cab once again reflective paint/mirrors. im guessing your using an HPS 250w light? if not HPS lights are perfect for flowering.

Never Ever Ever use mirrors, they eat light. Tinfoil will cause burn spots, dont use that either, The very Best option is to use flat white paint, not gloss. Flat white is the cheapest, and will actually reflect the most light compared to mirrors or high gloss paint.

Good luck.

I am using Lots of foil and Mylar now and was getting ready for white paint like next week , my cab has a lot of dark light sucking wood , ? is why Flat not gloss, as I was going to go with a high gloss ultra white, can you explain the sciance behind the use of flat, I am guessing it has to do with , Glare and diffusion? thanks
P.s. I would think gloss would be better to wipe clean
