My 1st Grow! (O.G kush No#18, Chocolope, Calafornai Hash Plant)

Hey their this is my 1st ever grow and 1st ever journal so here goes!

I decided to go with the O.G kush No#18, chocolope and the calafornian hash plant (1 of each so the fukerz betta crack!) If i would have known a little more about the chocolope strain i would have probably gone for something else because they are apparently difficult to grow and HUGE!
I have had the seeds in over nite and so far the californian hash plant is the only one to crack.

For Veging i am going to use two t12 (1 warm white 20w & 1 cool white 20w) 16 on 8 off (any better ideas please let me kno!) and then for flowering im hoing to use a 600w hps 12/12.

The dimentions for the set-up are Height=1Ft 7" Length=3Ft 4" Depth=1Ft 4"

That box is pretty small dude. If ur gonna be using a 600Whps for flowering u better get some hardcore vents going. Or are you going cooltube method? Also i do like ur setup. but ur gonna have to go like 12/12 from seed if u don want ur plants over 1foot 7". And even then u better LST. But cheers on ur first grow. GL!

I was thinking of moving them to a m8s house to flower and perhaps taking a couple of clones to have a go at flowering myself. Ill have to find a bigger place to put them 1st tho. Cheerz 4 d info

How long are you planning on vegging for before flowering? That cab is quite short and height can quickly become an issue..

Not too sure im a total noob so any advice you could offer would be great. im only really planning to keep them inside that lil set-up fo veging, need to sort out something a bit bigger for flowering

Just a quick update. All seeds have cracked and been put into rooying cubes. For veging im planning on using Canna Bio Vega (Grow) and Canna Bio Rhizotonic. Does anyone know if those items would work with this http://www.growell.co.uk/p/0996/Canna-Coco-Organic-Growing-Medium.html

Hi there another update! I have decided to move my grow to a larger area because the one i had originally was wayyy too small. The new grow room dimentions are H = 3ft 7" L= 1ft 10" D= 1ft 4".

At the moment im using 2x flourecent tubes (1x t12 warm white & 1x t12 cool white) but am going to get a 250w Blue spectrum CFL.

All seeds have sprouted but the kush is really doing a lot better than the calafornian and chocolope. I have been feeding all 1/4 strength Bio Rhizotonic and in a couple of weeks move onto full strength with Canna Bio Vega and for flowering i will be using Bio Canna Flores and Bio Canna Boost. The growing medium i have decided to use is Bio Canna Terra.

I will be using the other side of the cuboard to flower these plants after taking some clones to stay in the veging area.

I have just finished setting up my new now area, i decided not to use the other side of the cupboard to flower because it is rather small but will still be using it for my clones

All plants are looking good but the kush is really outshining the others. I bought a grow tent (W=110cm D=65cm H=120cm) and a 250w blue spectrum cfl I will LST my plants because of the heigh restrictions.

Does anyone know when is the correct time to start giving nutes? I have been feeding 1/2 strength Bio Rhizo since start

It was the kush no 18.

Bad News
I managed to snap one of the lower shade leafs fingers (twat!) but am not too concerned at the mo. Anyone think this will be an issue as the plant is only around 2 wks frm seedling?

Also if anyone notices in the pics i done anything wrong please let me kno

Your baby should be fine. You might want to hold off on those nutes though for a little longer, the one at least, looks like it might be burnt. I didn't notice what your medium is? It looks a little woody though, make sure to get a PH meter - I read that the wood can be acidic.

Thanks for checking out my grow DoeEyed. Im using canna bio terra soil mix. Its organic. I have not fed any of my plants nutes yet but i think the chocolope has nute burn from what was in the soil mix already, Doh! Ill go and get a couple of pics up

Ive decided not to go for the canna nutes now and am now going to use AdvancedNutrients. I have ordered Iguana juice gro/bloom and hammerhead 9/18 and big bud. Will probs get carbo load and maybe cpl of otha things soon

Pic1 and 2 is of the OG Kush #18. It is doing extremley well and i have started to LST. The only thing that concerns me is the yellowing of the lower leaver after re-potting.

Pic 3 is of the chocolope. If you look at the pic you can see what i think is nute burn, not too sure tho as this is my 1st ever gro......

Pic 4 is of the Californian hash plant. Since re-potting the leaves have began to droop, i think this may be due to overwatering, but not really too bothered bout this plant as i got it for free

Another day Another update

Just watered all plants. Used 3/4 strength BioRhizotonic and 1.3ml of iguana juce bloom (recommended dosage from advanced nutrients calculator)

All plants are looking ok but the onlything that concerns me is the chocolope plant. The leaves blades are a lot lighter in colour running up the centre

As you can see i have LST the Kush and Chocolope but am not going to bother with the Hash Plant as it is an indica and i dont think the height of the plant will become an issue

I am growing chocolope, and og #18 and got the has plant for free on attitude. I have to say man your set up in small for those strains. Mine just afye four weeks veg and no nutes are about 2'6" or 3 feet in hidth with very large side branches if topped. Your going to need to do some serious lst for this one.

The LST goin well. Tried FIM on one of the new colas popping up on the O.G Kush and on the main cola of the Hash Plant, that was after i took the pic tho. Fuck I hope i havent Missed!

Time to chop finally, sooo chuffed! Been flowering for almost 3 months!!
