Alright so this is going to be my first grow journal.
I don't know how well of a journal keeper I will be though I like the idea, so I will try to keep up.

I guess I should start off with the basics.

I am using a dark room II pro & wide (wide DR240WII - 96" x 48" x 80") for my enclosure.
Yea it is about twice the amount of space I need, but no one ever said bigger was worse. lol This way I always have space.
I will be using an Aquamist IV (24 "W x 24 "Lx12"H, Reservoir Capacity - 10 Gallons, 16-4" Plant Stations, Pump - 264 GPH Mag-Drive)
There are 16 plant sites but I have made an arrangement to make them have a little more space for each root system.
I am using a
Lumz'n Blooms SteelBox Ballast HPS 400W with a 400 Watt HPS Hortilux Bulb and as a hood Yield Master II Classic 4" Reflector.
The nutrients I will be using are just basic, I feel I need to get to know basics before I go all out. So it will be
General Hydroponics Grow, Micro and Bloom. With Botanicare's Cal-Mag+ and GH Ph Up&Down(Not a nute I know but still).
I also have neem oil to the side just in case.
I have 2 large 18in Oscillating fans in side the tent, I also have a 273 cfm can fan with a can 75 just in case smell gets to be a factor.

I have 10 arjan strawberry haze seed I am starting to germinate tonight.
I will be putting them in a paper towel that is damp then into a bag with holes along the side to create space for humidity to escape.( it works like a charm.)
after I will put them into a 2x2 rockwol cube wet with 5.5 Ph water.
they will be put under a SunBlaze 48 system which carries 8-4 foot long cool white tubes.

If I am missing anything let me know. its alot to think of at once.

I will try to add picture updates as often as possible cuz I know everyone likes to see whats going on rather then just hearing.

Within about an hour I will have pictures up with the germination.

So if you want anything I am using I give all the places I get them.

The items I use.
10 bags wide enough to fit the paper towels in.
10 paper towels.
10 seeds.
1 ph/eds/ppm/temp reader
1 measuring cup to put water in to ph it.
1 nutrient syringe to wet the paper towels.
Ph down to ph the water ( my cities' waters' ph is usually high.)

All gone (: / :(

I put them each in their own bag and paper towel because I have had better results doing this. ( upwards of 96% germ rate)

Then they are hung with paper clips and hang in my closet for around 3 days. ( hanging has also given me better germ success rate i think due to the roots fighting with the force of gravity.)

Haha also nice technique on the seeds. The only thing I would suggest is a manual pH tester. I've had my electric tester fail on me before a few times, nearly killed my crop. The dropper kit is like $8 and cannot be incorrect because it is a reaction that tells you the pH.

Yea but its very inconsistent imo ( knowing if the colors are correct.)

for my ease of mind,i just re calibrate my tester every 2 months. this way I know its at the correct settings.

Yea dsb65 Im all set up for now just now getting the process starting.

and for tomorrow i will be harvesting 3 soil grow chocolopes. I cant wait for time to pass so i can smoke those babies. (:
