Hello everyone. I havent been around here for some time after a disastrous attempt at a first grow. I've just been smoking and toking, but recently an offer came up, and I took it and will be moving to Colorado by the end of the year.

First things first, I will get my med card when I get established there, hopefully by Christmas. It will be the first time that Cannabis will be abailable to me medicinally, as I am from TX. Although I dont live there yet, I have been looking at places and I am planning my grow set-up for when I get down there.

My buddy will be living with me and we will both have our cards (mine for depression/anxiety, his for stomach ulcers causing nausea). That will utilize 12 plants that I will legally be able to grow. I'm new at this, and have been doing A LOT of reading and studying up to learn what I'm doing.

I am planning on getting a 4x8x7 grow tent, with 2 3x3 ebb and flow trays with 2 30gal reservoirs. I am still confused on the lighting a little bit. I am planning on going with 3 600w electronic digital mh/hps lights with air cooled reflectors cooled by a 6" high velocity inline fan rate at 424cfm pulling air through, also with a 6" duct booster at the intake side to give a slight boost. I could also go with 2 1000w electronic digital mh/hps with magnum xxxl air cooled hoods powder by the same fan combo as the 6's. I plan to run a 12 plant Scrog with a 4x8 canopy. Intake will be handled by a 4" HO Can Fan with duct muffler coming in from the bottom of the tent. Exhause will be handled a 6" high velocity inline fan rated at 424cfm attatched a can33 carbon fliter.

Lights will be set on timers as well as intake and exhaust fans. Intake and Exhaust fans will kick on when temps hit 80, and will shut off when temps hit 72.

Bare in mind these are plans but I plan to have most of my equipment by the time I get my place.

Anyones input and suggestions would be appreciated.

I would avoid buying the tent, I had one and they are nice and easy but overall a waste of money unless you are growing in a huge space and do not want to do as much prepration work. I am personally a fan of 1000w lights but have friends that swear by 600s and laugh at me whenever I am having heat issues. What do you plan to make your tables from? I would reccommend a bigger pump than you expect for ebb and flow, It is much better to have the tables fill fast.
