MOVED due to lack or replies

Ok looking for some help. I can grow just fine but want to upgrade my gear I am looking for input on 4 items. If anyone has inputs from experience both good and bad I would appreciate it. If you have a link to the items even better,

I will not be growing more then 6 plants at a time and more often only 4 at a time I do ( or have been ) growing 12/12 start to finish and will probably keep doing that. It lets me easily move new plants in so I always have 2 in harvest 2 in flower and 2 starting. Most of the time I do Hydro DWC, RDWC and Soil. So here is what I need to get.

Everything will be new.. So i want the fit to fit without to much extar work. I was been " Rigging" for to long.

One large grow tent around 64H 43 W 24 D ( I found this one, jusy not keen on the 4in vent

Light MH ( with balast and reflector input) or T5?

Good low noise exhaust fan

Good carbon filer.

I need to decide on a tent and light so I can decide on the diameter of the fan and filter 4, 5,6in

Any help on anyone of these will help. I don’t want to shop on line for the items only to have them not fit right or have a better product out there that I should have gotten.

I will also post the items I find looking for feedback from someone who has used them.

Thanks for any help

OK, I'll take a cut at this. If you are going to use T5 the rectangular shape is great suited the fixture. Is a 4 in vent enough for T5? Yes. Can you use T5 start to finish, yes I have done it. Will you get HPS results? No. Is 5 feet enough height? I suspect that you will have to manipulate the plants. If you figure about 1 foot for the pots and another 8 inches to hang the lamp and keep 2 inches between the lamp and the plants you are down to under 3 1/2 feet. Are you OK with that?

Thanks for the reply it helps a lot, I have little experience with T-5 but see them popping up more and more. Large grow size is not a concern I can’t really get over 3 feet with pots.

I just got a sunleaves windtunnel fan, I got the 4" 200cfm, its made of plastic and it is QUIET! Also it'd work with that tent since it's 4", it's the highest flowing 4" fan I found, and for that tent 200cfm with be plenty!
Oh and get a phresh filter!

ok for fan noise i have experience with 3 brands in different sizes so here is my experiences.

1st fan) a hydrofarm 6" 400cfm inline, it is a great fan and i have had it for a while it is in the middle of my 3 in noise its not the quietest but quieter than others
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hydrofarm-Active-Air-6-inch-6-In-Line-Fan-400-CFM-Hydroponic-Blower-ACDF6-NEW-/290689996826?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43ae79581a
2nd fan) a cap 8" 745 cfm inline, this thing is super loud! when it turns on and i am sitting in another room it sounds like a 747 jet taking off lol
http://www.ebay.com/itm/CAP-8-Inch-ValuLine-Fan-745-CFM-Inline-Fan-Hydroponics-/360215651658?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item53de86a54a
3rd fan) a ecoplus 8" 740cfm inline, this thing is super quiet, my favorite fan and the oldest of the bunch. i cant even tell when its on and its super reliable
http://www.ebay.com/itm/8-Ecoplus-Supreme-Inline-Fan-740-CFM-eco-plus-hydroponics-fan-blower-/120867946683?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c244a80bb

now for the tent i have one that size this is actually the one
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-x-4-x-7-Hydroponic-Dark-Grow-Tent-Garden-Dome-Cabinet-/170731961756?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27c06afd9c#ht_3428wt_1265
it is a great tent and has 6" vent holes, it is my veg tent and uses 10 t5 bulbs in it and the 400 6" hydrofarm fan cools it no problem. a 400w cooltube with a switchable ballast would work great in this tent and would prabably leave you more initial room and cool quite easily. i bought this 400w kit from ebay a while back and have been running it for quite a while with no issues, its not the greatest but its cheap and digi ballast allows for mh/hps conversion have had it run for 6 months on 24/7 with no burn out.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/400W-HPS-Bulb-Grow-Light-6-Air-Cool-Tube-Hydro-System-400-Watt-Digital-Ballast-/230700229337?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35b6ce22d9
that would put you right at 50wsf.
now for carbon filters, i have paid allot for them and then i have bought them on ebay and they all work the same to me. just make sure the cfm rating is that of the fan that will be pulling through it and you should be fine. here is one that would work great for a 6" inline

hope this helps bro:)
