mothers in hydro/ebb n flow systems???

can u keep a mother in a ebb n flow or hydroponic system or will the roots and plant take alot of space up?? is it better to keep mothers in dirt in a huge pot so they can grow with no resrictions??

My main worry would be power outages. If you keep mothers in a system which depends on constant electricity, you should have some sort of battery back-up. Otherwise, I'd stick with the far more forgiving soil.
