Mother semi-flowering during veg

Hello,

I'm experiencing some strange behavior from 2 strains in my mother room and was hoping someone might have some feedback/advice.

In my mother room I have 2 strains, that for the past 3-4 months, growth has slowed (but not stopped) and every internode has a few pistils and hairs. There is also resin production. It seems like preflowers but a little more pronounced and completely showing at every node from top to bottom. They are not auto-flowering strains (White Wid and Og K) and they are under t5s 24/7. There is no timer involved so I know the lights are always on. This also happened to a 707 HB I had but all the other strains I have are fine and vegging out nicely as they should.

I would have liked to been able to take some cuts for my next batch but lateral growth is very stunted as well. I looked into Dutch Master's Reverse but it seems as if it intended more for preventing male flowers in hermi from growing during the flowering stage and stop seed production. If it affected female flowers then everywhere it has been sprayed it would produce 0 flowers, male or female.

Any ideas as to what maybe causing this or how to fix it? It's been annoying me for some time now and I can't figure it out. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I am feeding canna aqua a & b, about half strength once a week with rhizotonic, dm silica, drip clean, a dash of liquid karma and a couple drops of super thrive. I thought maybe rootbound stress but they weren't but I still popped them into smart pots to be safe.

They are both clones and I've had them for well over a year now. I have also run a few cycles with each. They were looking fine up until about 3-4 months ago. I also took clones from them several times, but never to the point of massacring them. Around the time this started happening I took some cuts for a friend and decided I'd start some new moms. The clones I kept are displaying the same characteristics, stunted vertical growth, little to no lateral growth, preflowers, etc. The clones that went into flower turned out beautiful. Thanks again.

some plants just loose vigor over time. sometimes they stress with age they natural wanna reproduce and die i know there is a way to restore vigor but i dont know it will help with the flowering. Plant tissue culture..

its normal for clones to that. its also a very nice headstart into flowering phase. it can literally look like its forming up but it wont. also cloning is great for rejuvenation, ugly moms make nice clones. dont use the same mom over and over start a new clone mom every so often.

Thanks for the advice. I'll have to look more into plant tissue culture and see what that's all about. I normally restart a new mom every year or so, but it usually depends on how they look. I've had the same mom for over 4 years of one of my fav strains (obviously always have a few cuts in plugs just in case). I have a good feel for how they should be with time and when to start anew. Also I've never seen clones that would like these would. This really isn't that good for cloning because I can probably only get a few tops, branching has pretty much halted. I think I may toss them into full flower for 2-3 weeks and then pull them out and see how they react. We'll see. Thanks again.
